The word ‘Teppanyaki’ is derived from ‘teppan’which means ‘iron plate’ and ‘yaki’ which means ‘grilled’. On the battlefields of Ancient Japan, Samurai warriors would turn their body armour inside out and use this as the grill in which to cook their food.

This style of cooking has evolved over time to be an exciting and visually appealing experience with chefs cooking the food at your table.Teppanyaki Lytham St.Annes has long been established as Lytham St.annes  premier Japanese restaurant, using the Teppanyaki style of cooking to create a dining experience like no other.
